WHAT CAN WE DO
FOR AN HIV-FREE WORLD?

Together we can make a difference in the response to HIV.

001

Because of U=U you can’t go wrong.

002

We can ADOPT SAFER AND MORE EFFECTIVE BEHAVIOURS to prevent HIV transmission, as using condoms correctly or using PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis): these methods can reduce the risk of acquiring and transmitting HIV.

There is no reason why we should exclude a person living with HIV from our lives, even from our sexual and romantic lives.nstead, we should be wary of those who say they have no risks for HIV, or that they do not need to get tested. These people likely don't know their HIV status. While a person living with HIV on antiretroviral therapy and with an undetectable viral load will not transmit HIV to us!

003

We can GET TESTED FOR HIV REGULARLY: this is an important action to protect our health and to prevent transmitting HIV to others. We can also encourage others to do the same, remembering that HIV can affect everyone, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.

Today, community-based organizations offer free and anonymous testing services, let’s use this opportunity!
If the test result is positive, we can start antiretroviral therapy right away, and soon our viral load will be undetectable, and it will not be possible for us to transmit HIV to others (in addition to safeguarding our health!)

There are no groups at risk of HIV infection, but HIV risk behaviours; the most frequent is for sure condomless sex.

In case if we've had any risks for HIV, we can get tested to clear any doubt.

Let's remember that every little gesture matters and can have a significant impact. Even with our individual actionswe can help create an HIV-free world by promoting prevention, testing, early detection and by eliminating stigma against people living with HIV. Together, we can make U=U not only a scientific fact, but also a lived truth, breaking down barriers, defeating stigma, and building a future where HIV and prejudice no longer have power, because everyone deserves freedom, health, and unconditional love.

Early HIV diagnosis is essential to start treatment rapidly and reduce the risk of transmission. It is essential to promote voluntary HIV testing and that services are accessible, free, anonymous and non-judgmental.

Getting evidence-based information about HIV to spread knowledge and debunk myths about HIV is the first step for eliminating stigma and prejudice. Let’s promote awareness about HIV and its prevention!

Every little gesture matters and can have a significant impact. Even with individual actions, we can help create an HIV-free world, by promoting prevention, testing, early diagnosis, and by eliminating stigma against people living with HIV.

We strongly believe in the power of knowledge. We could get to a world where people living with HIV are no longer subject to stigma and discrimination. Join us in the "U=U impossibile sbagliare" campaign and let's spread this message together!
